My name is Jamie Lehberger and I am absolutely thrilled to
have the pleasure of teaching third grade for the second
year at Northwood Hills Elementary! I am looking forward
to getting to know all of the wonderful faculty members
and bright, young students that fill our halls every
school year!
So where did I come from? I grew up in very close-knit
military family, as my father served over 20 years in the
United States Air Force before retiring in 2004. Through
my experience as an “Air Force Brat,” I had the
opportunity to live in many places throughout my life,
including Ohio, Washington, the Philippines, Germany, and
of course, Texas. My parents and younger sister still
reside in Burleson, Texas while my older brother travels
the world in my father’s footsteps as a member in the US
Air Force.
I must say that my favorite school I ever attended would
have to be my alma-mater, Texas A&M University in College
Station (Whoop)! I graduated in 2010 with a degree in
Interdisciplinary Studies and teaching certification in
Early Childhood – 6th Grade, with an emphasis
in language arts and English as a Second Language (ESL).
The countless wonderful experiences I had while attending
A&M established my decision to become an elementary school
teacher while lending me the knowledge and know-how I
needed to help me be successful in my career!
I could not be more excited to be a part of the fantastic
team here at NHE! My students and I will work hard to set
goals and exceed our own expectations through focused,
fun, and involved learning so that every student is
successful! |
