This is my 18^th year with RISD and I have been teaching at Northwood Hills for the last fifteen years. I believe that second grade is absolutely the best grade to teach. It is such a precious time to spend with young children who are so ready and willing to learn. That is what makes my job so rewarding.

I was born in Casper, Wyoming but have lived in Texas for most of my life. I am fortunate to have traveled extensively thru Europe and the Far East and still have a longing to visit New Zealand and Australia.

I have three grown children and two precious grandsons. I am fortunate to have all of my children living close by.

I am excited about my new class and I am looking forward to getting to know each of them as well as their families.
