I am thrilled to be serving as the Counselor at NHE for my 2^nd year! I look forward to working with all of our teachers and students throughout the year and getting to know each of you. Thank you for the opportunity to work with all of your children!

This year marks my 9^th year of teaching at NHE! After student teaching in 3rd grade at NHE for a semester, I graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station in December 2002 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, grades Pre-K-6. I have enjoyed being able to teach both 3^rd and 6^th grades and serving as the Instructional Specialist since I began my time here.  Last December I graduated with a master’s degree in Counseling through Texas A&M University-Commerce and was excited to begin my new career as a school counselor at NHE.

In addition to being dedicated to your children and my NHE family, I also value my own family. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jeremy, for four years.  We don’t have any children of our own at this time, but we do have the most precious little puppy named Kerbey! I am also close to my extended family which includes my mom and dad who have supported me in everything I have done. My brother, Scott, who is three years younger than me, got married this summer to his beautiful bride, Vicki. He is currently working in Addison in addition to serving in the Navy Reserves. 

I love Northwood Hills and the families who come in and out of our doors every day! I look forward to meeting all of our children and their families throughout this year!
