I am thrilled to
be the new Instructional Specialist at NHE! I look
forward to working with all of our teachers and students
throughout the year. Thank you for the opportunity to
work with all of your children this year! This year marks
my 6th year of teaching at NHE! After student teaching
in 3rd grade at NHE for a semester, I graduated from
Texas A&M University in College Station in December 2002
with a degree in Early Childhood Education, grades
Pre-K-6. I am currently in graduate school at Texas A&M
Commerce working on a master’s degree in Counseling. The
opportunity to be the Instructional Specialist will
definitely help me to one day transition into the
counseling role by allowing me to learn more about all
ages of students served in elementary schools. In addition to
being dedicated to your children, I also value my
family. I have now been married to my wonderful husband,
Jeremy Pendery, for one year. I am also close to my mom
and dad who have supported me in everything I have done.
After sending me to A&M, they made sure to stick with
Aggie traditions and made EVERYTHING in their house
maroon! They even have a sweet puppy they named Gig’em!
My brother, Scott, graduated from Texas A&M in May of
2006 and is now stationed in Norfolk, Virginia as an
officer in the U.S. Navy. I am so proud of him and his
desire to serve and protect our country! I know he would
love to receive letters from our students throughout the
year! I love Northwood
Hills and the families who come in and out of our doors
every day! I hope you have an awesome experience this
year! |
