My name is
Sharon Willard and I am so glad to be the Art Teacher at
Northwood Hills! I started out teaching elementary art
years ago and decided to try teaching 4th grade for a
few years too. I stayed home to be a mom for awhile
after that, and now I am back again and teaching art
once more.
This will be
my 15th year to teach and my second year at Northwood
Hills and Spring Valley Elementaries. I graduated from
Texas Tech University where I got my BFA degree in Art
Education, and I also have a degree in Elementary
Education.
I live in
Lake Highlands with my husband and two daughters. One
daughter is a Junior at Lake Highlands High School and
the other is an 8th grader at Lake Highlands Jr High.
We love the Richardson ISD schools. They are the best!
I am very blessed to be a parent and a teacher in RISD.
