Northwood Hills Elementary School

Mackie Kazdoy, principal

This week is Earth Week!  You may have noticed all the green clothes students were wearing on Monday!  Thursday is actually Earth Day.  Let’s all wear blue and walk to school, if possible.  Students are working at home on Recycled Art Projects.  They should bring those to school on Friday.  Thanks to Laurie Osborne (Nick’s mom) and Tracy Locke (Braxton’s mom) for all of their work organizing and planning this fun and informative week for us!

All Enrollment Cards are due in the school office now with a current proof of residency.  A current proof of residency is a lease, or water, gas, electric bill that is for this month.  A copy can be made in the office and will be sent back home the same day.  Some grade levels are filling quickly.  Make sure your child has a place at Northwood Hills next year by returning their Enrollment Card and proof of residency.

Don’t miss the Eaglette Revue at Richardson High School this weekend, April 23 and 24 at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets are $8 at the RHS Auditorium.  We have several NHE alums including Jenna Caire, Emily Nichols, and Emily Gyemant.

Proud of our jumpers! This year we raised $1,080.00 for Jump Rope for Heart.

Box Tops and Labels for Education Contest!!
Time to send in those box tops and labels you’ve been collecting all year! Turn in box tops and labels to your teacher. The top collecting classes in “A” hall and “B” hall win Ice Cream Parties!!! We raised $800 with box tops last year. Your box tops and labels really DO make a difference!!
