I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving break with family and friends! I am so thankful to be a part of our wonderful school! Thank you for your participation and support! I especially want to thank the many parents who spend much of their time and money to take care of all our students. This includes our wonderful, tireless PTA, as well as those parents who help with traffic control to keep our kids safe, help with parties and hospitality, help in the cafeteria and library, fill Tuesday envelopes…the list goes on and on! Northwood Hills has a tradition of being a wonderful community in the full sense of the word and this continues today. Thank you so much!

*5^th Grade Parent Reading Night!* Ms. Wong and Ms. Pailes will be hosting a Parent Reading Night for 5^th grade parents this Thursday, Dec. 1 from 5:30 – 6:30.

Reflections Contest Winners! Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Reflections contest! Their entries will go on to compete in the RISD competition. We’re all so proud! Winners are:

Mover and Shaker Ava Greaney 4^th grader, Ava Greaney, is concerned about helping people with Alzheimer’s Disease. She initiated a fundraiser to collect and donate money for research. With the support of her class and her family, she collected $100 to help. One of many examples that NHE students are leaders who care about other people!
